Special thanks to Nick Bakewell for jamming out on his real guitar, and Jrhee for reminding me to make the video.

Check out the small version over to the right!

So how will these controls be incorporated into the game? Not exactly, just a general idea. Other than your spell example, I'm having a hard time visualizing the transition from guitar playing to RPG controls.

Maybe this will help...

think...

Wario Ware +
Professor Layton +
Majora's Mask

And you'll have your answer. If that doesn't help, you'll just have to wait while I write up the design doc as soon as I can (hopefully before Brawl comes out because we all know what's going to happen then).

Its really too bad there isn't a way to stop that anoying clacking noise. Thats the biggest seperation between the real thing and a game controller. Getting rid of that could be the biggest breakthough sense putting rythem into gameplay.

hgzero:

You can always use the rock band guitar... but then... those guitars have really loud fret buttons. It's really all up to your personal tastes/style... unless you're in the market for modding your guitars.
